Athletics

Being active is something we encourage amongst students by trying to create a culture in our whole community.

We recognize that exercise and teamwork not only benefit bodies, but also minds and hearts. Events like the Annual Centennial Spring Classic and Golf Scramble draw people in from our wider community to get moving together. We rely on teachers, alumni and parent coaches to take the lead with different sports and activities.

Every year is different when it comes to our athletics program, as much depends on student numbers and interests. Most years, we offer Cross Country Running, Volleyball, Basketball, Track and Field, Badminton and Ski & Snowboard. On a more informal scale, our students have engaged in Run Club, Skipping Club, Table Tennis, 4-square, 9-square, Hiking… whatever gets the heart rate up!

It has also been our tradition to have separate Sports Days for primary, elementary and high school, during the last few weeks of school before the Summer Break.
